This is a true jack (or jill!) of all trades position where you will get to touch every aspect of HR! This role incorporates: HRIS and benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, safety, performance management, payroll support, and more!

- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Assist with the onboarding process of all new-hire which includes: running background checks and drug testing, I9 & e-verify new-hires, maintain orientation packets, process new-hire paperwork and enter into the HRIS system, etc
- Benefits administration which includes open enrollment, COBRA administration, and 401K enrollment
- Employees relations which includes: Coach and mentor leader and team members as needed + Employee engagement surveys
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives & HR training compliance
- Create and manage teams on employee appreciation/social events, wellness/health and safety, community involvement
- Coordinate companywide training initiatives
- Process Leaves of Absence, STD/LTD, and Workers Comp claims through the appropriate channels.
- Backup payroll support (biweekly payroll process for over 200 employees as needed)
- Maintain, organize, and keep accurate employee files
