HR Benefits Coordinator
Responsibilities
This team member is an organized, detail oriented, patient and service-focused contributor to HR
Collaborate with the HR Team to continually develop, streamline and revise HR processes to be more efficient, effective, and scalable
Produce excellent results, deliver on project deadlines, and communicate with authenticity and professionalism
Measure results of projects and methods of program delivery to achieve greater impact and cost effectiveness
Handles life changes in accordance with MediCare/MediCal requests
Benefit system administration to manage enrollments, alerts, EOI forms, qualifying events, and exports to Payroll
Monthly dashboard maintenance, tracking, regeneration and investigation of discrepancies
Monitoring lookback periods for changes in eligibility
Support the annual reporting and auditing for ACA testing
Act as an HSA account support for TMs with frozen or closed accounts
Monthly audit and reconciliation between provider invoices and HRIS/Benefits system
Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs
Work closely with Broker and carrier representative to solve high level problems, collect credits on invoicing and report/resolve discrepancies
Cross train and/or act as back up for other positions in the department
Adheres to all city, county, state and federal regulations
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately
Assist with 401k/Benefits education and summary reports
