What You'll Do

You will typically be a billable consultant to existing client service teams as well as top managers in client technology organizations. You will have the opportunity to be an entrepreneur and build your own book of business for yourself but not by yourself. You'll run our clients' operations on a day to day basis in a hands-on fashion getting involved with recruiting, business development, finance/accounting, marketing/branding, legal contracts, and human resources. You will open up new opportunities and expand existing opportunities for client impact while evolving and reinventing Zeal's approaches. You’ll be responsible for advising companies on transformational change and capability building. Additionally, you’ll bring deep functional knowledge, expertise and best in class methods/tools to every client situation. In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with others but also autonomously with little direction. Your superior analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills will ensure successful client projects and team performance. You’ll also gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm.

While managing and developing strategic client relationships and ensuring the highest quality client work you'll inspire, lead, and develop new consultants. You will have the opportunity to leverage your proven leadership skills and your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating a true followership. You will also lead and advise developing consultants and be an important source of intellectual insight on a client project. You will work to frame business problems in a way that the teams can then execute to drive value for the client. Advising and collaborating with individual contributors and team leads, you’ll lead the account on their day to day problem solving, team management and client management.

What You'll Need

  • Distinctive record of leadership, achievement, and impact in the areas of software development and technology
  • Experience leading cross-functional information technology teams
  • Prior experience as an information technology, software, or management consultant at a similar level in a professional services firm
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive
  • In-depth knowledge or defined involvement in helping to frame, design and execute deliverables-based solutions for challenging and even dysfunctional client business situations
  • Proven thought leadership within the technology and software industry including production and syndication or publication of marketable knowledge
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem solving with software and technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Outstanding listening skills and the ability to lead and manage through influence
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Advanced technology or business graduate degree desired (e.g., MBA, MS, etc.)
  • 10+ years of work experience after graduate school
