About The Role - Director, Digital Advisory-HR Service Delivery

This role will be part of the HR Industry Solutions Practice and will lead all HR Service Delivery Solutions. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge and experience of HR operations and service delivery to engage with our top customers and accelerate their digital transformation.


Core job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.
  • Set strategy and vision for the “art of the possible” for HR service delivery solutions.
  • Create a global organization to execute on your vision and strategy.
  • Engage with top customer executives to become their trusted advisor on the best ways to leverage Microsoft technologies to drive world class talent strategies.
  • Lead user centered design sessions with the goal of creating a minimum viable product (MVP) to address the customer’s business need and can scale to other customers and industries.
  • Able to work well in challenging situations while exhibiting flexibility and the ability to tolerate and manage through ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Identify emerging trends or re-occurring escalation scenarios and drive engineering opportunities to mitigate and/or eliminate them.


Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of HR operations and service delivery experience, including experience building solutions to improve the employee experience and drive efficiencies.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of people management, hiring, developing, and retaining talent.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the most utilized HR service delivery platforms used by our global customers.
  • Experience with leading user centered design workshops and enabling tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Teams, O365/Graph, and Dynamics.
  • Broad understanding of technology, including current and emerging digital solutions across applications and analytics.
  • Strong presence, collaboration, and communication skills to connect and align with leaders and practitioners at many levels (leadership to IC engineer) across many disciplines (business to technical).
  • Proven results in a complex, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environment; and who loves the creativity, energy, and enthusiasm of a fast, collaborative, innovative team.
  • Ability to enable others by using an inclusive approach to stakeholder engagement, teamwork, and problem-solving by welcoming diverse points of view, leveraging the talent of others, and searching for new, holistic solutions.
  • Deep technical program management skills.
  • Ability to build frameworks that guide consistent decision making and allocation of resources which is a critically important element of prioritization.
  • Takes ownership and develop relationships with peers, delivery partners, and stakeholders that facilitates a One Microsoft culture for shared business outcomes.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $157,600 and $236,400

At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
