Large Charter School Client is seeking a Direct permanent, fully remote Talent Acquisition Director to join their team and manage a team of 8 recruiters. The Senior Director of Talent coaches and supports leaders in talent, and supports our culture, equity development, and/or leadership development. Oversee and partner with Regional Directors to implement an efficient and effective multi-year, national talent acquisition strategies to improve quality and diversity in recruitment activities across the regions Motivate and inspire Talent Team to meet ambitious goals; Coach, support, and holds accountable, and oversee the overall Talent work of Regional Directors of Talent Proactively engage with Sr. Leaders across departments to maintain an understanding of all hiring needs in order to be able to assess and support their current and future talent acquisition needs efficiently and effectively Work collaboratively across People and Finance teams, as well as others, to ensure hiring and onboarding processes that are efficient and effective Develop and implement anti-racist Talent practices and policies, including promoting systems to support greater staff diversity Implement national best practices to ensure timely filing of open roles by partnering with, and proactively sharing this information with Regional Directors and Hiring Managers Sr. Director of Talent ensures that, Hiring Managers receive relevant and timely hiring practices training Manage relationships pertaining to Talent such as; contract / temporary agencies, contracted recruiting agencies, applicant tracking system vendors, etc. Collaborate on various initiatives including Compensation, Learning & Development, and Diversity & Inclusion to provide ongoing support for the current and future direction as we grow Conduct national talent research, analyze data, and prepare reports for Sr. Leadership as needed to proactively determine trends, and /or make needed adjustments that need to be implemented Develop and direct strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives and best practices to obtain top talent in very competitive markets Provide expert strategy and guidance to our leaders and hiring managers to attract, select, retain, and sustain highly-skilled, diverse candidates; proactively communicate strategy updates to leadership, Talent team, and hiring teams Manage, in partnership with the talent team, outreach programs with schools and detail oriented organizations Partner with Regional Directors to create a plan for proactively tracking and engaging top talent to develop a future pipeline for hiring needs within the designated regions Ensure regular and ongoing coaching, development, and training for Talent Team Demonstrated ability to lead recruitment function in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment Experience in education sector recruitment is a MUST Demonstrated commitment to people-first strategies and approaches Self-driven with superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through; able to lead multiple projects and still meet all deadlines
