POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:

Partner closely with business stakeholders to optimize employee experience related to talent management (TM) processes that are strategically linked to the organization's mission and strategy and aimed to assess, develop, manage, and engage the organization's talent. Lead initiatives within TM function to drive improved experiences and outcomes through simplification, efficiency, and technology. Provide support and tools for talent, learning processes and program initiatives across Charter Manufacturing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior, Education (Adult), Human Resources Management, or related
  • Five plus years’ experience in talent management, training/learning, and/or organizational development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven success in communicating at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated success in developing and fostering teamwork and collaboration at all levels
  • Demonstrated strong results-orientation and self-starter
  • Demonstrated success in leading project teams related to talent management processes (i.e., enterprise-wide, cross-functional, cross-divisional, multi-level)
  • Proven ability to identify and analyze metrics to gauge success of implemented programs
  • Ability to recognize and influence change across the business that directly supports organizational culture
  • Display strong talent management and learning systems knowledge and experience in implementation of formal learning and talent systems (Workday preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in talent management, organizational development, and learning
  • Two plus years’ experience managing enterprise-wide talent programs, processes, and systems
  • Understands and has implemented tools related to Performance Management, Goal Setting, Succession Planning, and Learning programs
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of all talent, leadership and team planning processes, policies and procedures across the business which includes but is not limited to succession planning, leadership selection and assessment, leadership development planning and performance management
  • Develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure and improve employee performance
  • Conducts assessment activiteis to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills and competencies and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs
  • Designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals
  • Identify the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvement
  • Assists the Manager of Talent and Learning in the development and deployment of learning programs for Charter Manufacturing
  • Responsible for managing the annual learning opportunities and offerings for Charter Manufacturing salaried employees
  • Encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and required using tools, training, and communication
  • Facilitates the overall implementation of career planning of high potentials, emerging leaders and managers included as successors in succession plans
  • Partner with business stakeholders to employ a structured needs assessment process to determine key development needs that are aligned with business objectives and support the desired business outcomes
  • Help to improve our employees’ experience through improved communication and information sharing of engagement related projects and programs
  • Lead/participate in initiatives to simplify and improve user experience, as well as improve quality, reduce cost, improve efficiency, and leverage technology
  • Seek to understand best practices throughout the businesses and make recommendations where practices have applicability across the organization
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the TM team by leading special projects, conducting research, analyzing programs, and providing critical feedback that helps solve team problems or improve TM processes and practices
  • Use metrics and data to measure overall effectiveness of systems and processes
  • Supports TM team members as needed
  • Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements
