Job Summary


Amazon’s Worldwide Operations Employee Relations (ER) team is looking for an ER Analyst to support the development of a positive employee experience and center employee feedback in programmatic development. This individual will have a demonstrated passion for providing deep and insightful analysis of communication and feedback channel data. The Employee Relations team is responsible for reducing risk to the business by deploying programs to empower the next generation of high-performing, Associate-centric frontline leaders. Our programs are global in scale and we continually innovate to transform and improve the employee experience. Candidates must have a successful record of building self-service dashboards, insightful reporting and efficient, repeatable processes that surface trends.

The ER Analyst will play a critical role in advancing our our mission. You will join a tight-knit team of ER professionals, including former HR, operational, program and legal leaders and will help shape the culture and direction of this team. You will be supporting Amazon's Worldwide Operations portfolio, and have impact on the daily work of over 900k+ Amazonians.

In this role you will manage, build, and grow programs that impact many different workforce populations (associates, drivers, corporate employees, etc.). You will deliver data and insights that provide critical context and build understanding of our employee’s needs, wants and concerns to business leaders. You will work across operational, HR and tech teams to leverage existing data and employee engagement channels. You are passionate about employee satisfaction and exhibit curiosity and empathy to better understand the perspectives of others.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements
  • Proactively and independently work with stakeholders to construct use cases and associated standardized outputs
  • Scale data processes and reports
  • Develop self-service reporting that is simple to use and elegant in delivery
  • Communicate your data analysis and actionable insights within the broader context of employee experience
  • Actively manage the timeline and deliverables of projects, providing program communications to stakeholders, raising blockers to stakeholders while proposing solutions
  • Leverage and optimize enterprise data visualization and dashboard tools to provide deep analysis, surface trends and actionable insights

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Communication, Marketing, Employee Engagement or other relevant field
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in social listening, digital marketing, public relations, employee engagement
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to identify, prioritize and drive coordination across work streams at varying levels of complexity
  • Draft, manage and continuously improve SOPs for reporting products including but not limited to SaaS dashboards.
  • Adept at escalating risk with appropriate context and data to drive urgency and action.
  • Makes recommendations to managers and peers on opportunities for risk mitigation based on established risk tolerance
  • High adaptability with a passion for continual learning within a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
