We are seeking a Director of People to join our People Department. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will partner with the Operations, Risk and Servicing departments to provide day-to-day support to the employees. You will also be a strategic HR partner to the department leaders by creating and supporting talent strategies that allow leaders to best motivate and engage their teams, while retaining top talent.

Responsible for the full spectrum of HR, you will provide oversight on general employee relations matters and be responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices. With the goal of sustaining an engaged and high-performing workforce, you will provide best practices and guidance in the following areas: compensation, performance management, learning and development, and organizational development. You will also oversee tactical HR support related to people and performance-related issues of the assigned business groups.


  • Build strong and influential relationships across assigned business groups based on requisite HR knowledge, competencies, respect and trust.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives that support the engagement strategies of the Business Units you support, and drive the company’s Values and Behaviors.
  • Act as a member of the Business team representing Human Resources in a professional and consultative manner
  • Work with the management teams to identify opportunities for productivity improvement via review of organizational structures, streamlining of business processes, continuous improvements and performance management
  • Develop and implement the full range of workforce, succession planning and talent management strategies that will support the delivery of business requirements.
  • Analyze business and HR metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend improvements.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to identify key talent for the Business and provide accurate job pricing based on Company’s compensation philosophy, external benchmark data and internal equity comparisons.
  • Lead, manage and coach direct reports


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field followed by 10+ years of experience working as an HR professional
  • Experience working with non-exempt and exempt employee populations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy
  • Team player and collaborator: communicates often with peers and partners, and manages change with precision and empathy
  • Resourceful, execution oriented, and to able to work in an ambiguous, fast paced, high growth environment, all while handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
  • Well-organized with excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as high-functioning leadership qualities
