Our Customer is an American public multinational corporation based in San Francisco, California, that produces software for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated big data via a Web-style interface. The product captures, indexes and correlates real-time data in a searchable repository from which it can generate graphs, reports, alerts, dashboards and visualizations. They are a company filled with people who are passionate about their product and who want to deliver the best experience for their customers!

We are looking for a Sourcer on a contract basis to support the customer’s ongoing business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and advanced sourcing techniques to identify candidates.
  • Source passive candidates through referrals, networking, internet searches, etc.
  • Generate qualified candidates through Direct Sourcing via telephone and/or email.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's candidate database.
  • Interview and screen potential candidates including.
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, etc. As a Sourcer.
  • Will demonstrate your outstanding searching skills to track down the very best talent.
  • Will communicate intelligently with your sourced super-candidates, persuade them to engage and interview, and then partner with Hiring Managers and the Recruiting Team alike to maximize their candidate experience.

Must Haves

  • Organization skills and ability to strategically build pipeline.
  • Ability to conduct build and source IC & management level hires with tact and tenacity.
  • An eye for detail and strong intuition for culture fit while screening candidates.
  • A strong bias for action.
  • Strong negotiating, closing and follow-through skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset, not scared by stretch goals.
  • Must be highly articulate.
  • Comfortable making numerous telephone calls.
  • Phenomenal teammate, highly collaborative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Preference for a combination of agency and in-house experience.
  • Client interaction, including working with our HR hiring managers, taking new requirements, reviewing candidate profiles and updating candidate pipeline progress.
  • Proven experience in Sourcing.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s San Francisco, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
