PLN is excited about the growth this upcoming year! With this expansion, we are ready to offer a great opportunity to a HR Business Specialist. The person in this position will support the recruitment function, ensuring new hire paperwork is complete and assist with the coordination of new hire orientation meetings and new hire onboarding process including data entry. The incumbent will also manage the Learning Management System which includes developing training courses, tracking and maintaining records of employee participation in all training and development programs. The incumbent will perform a variety of administrative support to the HR Department on all personnel matters to include: open and distribute mail; maintenance of personnel files and generating standard monthly reports. The incumbent will also assist in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all agency employees.
Education/ Experience / Skills
-BA degree in Human Resources preferred with two to three years of experience in the HR field or any similar combination of education and experience.
-Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
-Experience with HRIS systems preferred (ADP, Paycom, Paychex, etc.)
-Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint )
