About the job

Who we are looking for

The HR Website and Content Manager is responsible for editing, building and publishing content on NIKE, Inc.’s internal HR website. Additionally, this role works closely with stakeholders, collaborating and advising on the content, design and functionality of the website. The right person for this role will have the interest and experience to learn the entire ecosystem of the website (front end) and content management (back end). With a thorough understanding of our content and the system behind it, the HR Website and Content Manager also identifies and works through defects, issues and enhancements. This role is critical in delivering information that’s accurate, relevant, consistent and accessible. Our focus on optimizing the employee experience drives everything we do.

What you will work on

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and develop content
  • Advise and collaborate with stakeholders on site content, design and functionality
  • Assign and QA work for other teammates
  • Edit and format content to align with NIKE HR website content standards and style guide
  • Build and publish HR content for multiple audiences (based on roles, geos/locations and languages)
  • Leverage feedback and data to understand and improve the employee experience through the content we manage
  • Update and maintain the HR website standards and style guide
  • Identify defects and enhancements, both on the front end (website) and back end (content management)
  • Work with tech partners to define requirements for defect resolution and improved design/functionality
  • Test bug fixes and new design/functionality

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Experience using a web CMS and/or ServiceNow
  • Experience with HTML, Google Analytics, Excel, Word, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver (or other text editing tool)
  • Experience editing content using AP Style or similar style guide
  • Strong editing and QA/proofreading skills
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate multiple editorial tasks and meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience with project management, writing software requirements, writing test scripts and/or testing a plus
  • Experience working with translated content is a plus
  • Knowledge of web usability and accessibility is a plus
  • HR/legal background is a plus
