About the Opportunity

As our main in-house Recruiter, you will be a part of a high visibility People & Culture team that is shaping the culture of ValGenesis, one hire at a time. This role is critical to the success in bringing in key talent to serve as the engine of our business. You will be part of the HR Team (People & Culture), reporting to the Director of People & Culture and partnering closely to assist with all areas of full cycle recruitment. As a trusted talent advisor, you will communicate proactively with the Director of People & Culture given the fast-paced and ever-changing aspects of our high-growth business.

Some key areas include spending time on LinkedIn Recruiter conducting Boolean searches to source talent, updating status for all positions with key metrics on dashboards, managing job descriptions, screening candidates, summarizing phone screen notes for the hiring team, scheduling interviews, and conducting debrief sessions for the hiring team.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Work with all functions (HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Technical Support, Professional Services, IT, etc.) to proactively address hiring needs
  • Partner with Director of People & Culture to review current talent, potential candidates, external best practices, pipelining for a strong talent strategy
  • Leverage communication skills to facilitate discussions around talent pools with leadership including C-level executives, VPs, Directors, and Managers while influencing organizationally
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to learn about business needs while maintaining constant communication and offering updates on key developments to ensure alignment
  • Source and search for talent via LinkedIn, review applicant resumes, and other methods including leveraging Boolean searches and other best practices
  • Phone screen candidates, ensuring they fit the job requirements, skill sets, and are a cultural fit using behavioral based interview questions, general interview questions, and other data points required by the hiring team
  • Summarize phone screen notes, providing key insights on candidates in preparation for hiring team interviews
  • Create, update, and manage job postings internally and externally for branding, educating, and talent acquisition
  • Coordinate with candidates and internal hiring team’s calendars to schedule interviews via Outlook to ensure a seamless interview process
  • Update internal systems and tools with status and pipeline of recruitment efforts
  • Set up debrief sessions so that hiring team can determine the best candidate fit for the job opportunity

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience as a full cycle recruiter in a Tech company, supporting all departments in a matrixed, global environment, with high-volume needs
  • Global experience working with different time zones
  • Experience communicating, influencing, and working effectively with leadership
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with metrics to report data-based insights to help decision making from hiring team
  • An optimist self-starter with a hands-on approach, providing solutions, and focused on results
  • Operate with emotional intelligence while building key relationships with all stakeholders
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (such as Bamboo HR)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business relevant degree desired
  • Learning and staying in tune with the ever-changing market trends utilizing diverse tools to execute hiring needs
  • Travel as required and allowed; expect in the range of 10%
