The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
Essential Functions
- Working closely with senior leadership and department managers, develop a comprehensive approach to team structure, roles required, and future needs.
- Develop job descriptions, salary ranges and hiring timelines.
- Lead activities for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding, separations, and COBRA.
- Develop a method for performance evaluation that is fair, clear, and innovative.
- Establish methods of communicating important HR and corporate matters to all employees.
- Ensure that employees are receiving professional training to perform and excel at their roles and grow their careers with the company.
- Provide employees with coaching, counseling, and mentoring opportunities.
- Keep an “ear to the ground” to assess employee engagement formally and informally and, with senior leadership, take action to maintain employee satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain communication links to consultants on changes to employment regulations in Israel and elsewhere as international employee base grows.
