Plexcity, a shared back-office services company providing HR, IT and Accounting services to over 20 organizations across the United States, has an immediate opening for a VP of Human Resources. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the HR and benefits operations for Plexcity and our HR clients. The Vice President is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. This position also oversees the management of the employee insurance benefits for all clients, which includes negotiating contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
In addition, the VP of Human Resources will coordinate and/or conduct employee relations activities and programs, as well as coordinating hiring processes and develop and conducting new hire orientations.
Skills required for this position include excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal and conflict resolution, and strong supervisory and leadership. A strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations is required.
An undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or related field is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. Advanced knowledge of human resource management with at least seven years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR strongly preferred.
