Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with business leaders to build talent and organizational strategies to drive and enable business growth
  • Advise key leaders and related partners on people programs and processes that enable the business to achieve its strategy and growth plans
  • Lead all aspects of the application and delivery of programs and services from the People function to achieve enterprise and function priorities and operational requirements
  • Translate business strategy into talent, engagement and people strategies that drive goal achievement
  • Lead organizational effectiveness interventions to build capability, drive sustainable change & enhance business results
  • Provide agile, creative and holistic solutions to people & business challenges
  • Build and evolve White Oak Hospitality’s Employee Experience strategies and plans deriving meaningful, actionable insights from data and driving positive outcomes
  • Work with leaders to drive organizational, team and individual performance in alignment with our values and culture
  • Partner with leaders to align their organization design, capabilities, processes and rewards with short and long-term business strategies
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in HR program design, development and implementation
  • Leverage strong coaching and motivational skills to develop and advise executive leadership
  • Plan and drive projects with cross-functional teams

Requirements and Success Factors

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree in HR/OD preferred
  • Track record collaborating effectively with cross-departmental teams and stakeholders; including international counterparts
  • Strategic and tactical leader with vision to see what is needed to prepare for future challenges and ability to develop & execute the plan
  • Pragmatic problem-solver who leverages analytic reasoning and business acumen to identify and implement solutions
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong active-listening skills and ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive topics
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Expertise in partnering with and influencing executive-level leaders and employees; Outstanding executive presence and gravitas
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
  • Self-starter with a positive and professional approach

  • Willing to travel occasionally (when things return to normal post pandemic)
